I work at the Chilton Co. Jail and I knew Josh. He was an awesome officer. He was kind and gentle. He worshipped the ground that his young son walks on. My last memory I have of him was on Feb. 26, 2011, he was in Wal-Mart leaning down with his son and looking and explaining something to him. I said at that very moment that that was the sweetest thing I have ever seen, and for him that wasn't unusual. We here at the Chilton Co. Jail are devasted with the loss of him. He was and always will be loved by us and missed more than words can say.

He will be remembered and will live on in his son. He died doing what he loved and was meant to do in his short life.

We love you. We are praying for your family.

Love,
Josh's Shift at the Jail
