This is one of the hardest things I have had to do I think. We will all miss you Will...you have impacted us all more than I think we realized. I will miss many many things about you and the ammount of time I was blessed with to be around you. When I fist had to work with you..oh man, I wanted to KILL you. You were SUCH a pain in the ass..but I thank God every day that He allowed us to get to know the REAL you, and to change our way of thinking about you before you were taken away from us. My partner had said that, and she was 100% correct when she said it. We will always love you and you will remain in our hearts always. Our prayers and thoughts go to your family and all of your Co-workers past and present. XOXO

I knew your father quite a few years back and in just a few days he became a great friend. I met you a couple years ago when you first came back home. You came to where I worked and we ended up talking for an hour or so. You listened to my problems, my triumphs, my hopes and dreams. You held me when I cried and laughed with me when I was happy. You never asked for anything in return. Never made a pass at me, never made me feel useless or less than what I am. You helped build my self esteem, you protected me and my family. In the end you gave the ultimate gift. I will never forget the light in your eyes when you came and told me you got the job with Heard County. You were so proud, but my dear Will not as proud as we all are of you. You are the finest man, friend and deputy I will ever have had the privilege of knowing. I will miss you so much.

My deepest condolences to the Cammon family. You have lost a real hero. He lost his life just doing his job...a job I am sure he took GREAT pride in. I have a son in Law Enforcement, & I get to where I just hate to hear the phone ring, as one never knows when they will get that call. My son works as a Deputy about 4 hours away from me. May God wrap His loving arms around ALL of you as go through this time of loss and afterwards. God bless you and keep you strong.
