Reflections for Captain John Irwin "Jay" McDonough, II

For Captain Joyn I. McDonough:

In-service training is part of almost all law officer's schedule. Occasionally, one among us is stricken-down for reasons of a health problem that could be unknown to us. We regret that our brother Jay would be included in this fateful incident while in the service of others.

We pray for Jay's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the time of need.

We proudly render Captain John McDonaough a final salute.

So sorry to hear of this sudden death. I wish McDonough discovered his heart problems before the attack, as I did. There are a lot of us senior officers out there with the same profile. What a shock it is to his family. God Bless, Brother. DET 7902 (32 years)
