over the past week I have had the honor and privilege to get to know your son Aries. He is an amazing young man with a great heart. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I got to spend with him and I know you must be as proud of him as he is of you. Rest easy and thank you for watching over him and all of us from above.

Diverted traffic,

I respectfully add my condolences as Officer Peru’s transition reaches its 10 year anniversary. I was in the traffic line behind the accident that tragic day. The word was passed down of the severity of the accident and traffic was diverted onto the back roads.

The long line of cars went by Coolidge Dam and I took a picture it. Whenever I see that picture, I always remember how that photo was taken and why, and sadness always accompanies my memory. I was traveling the same road the same direction, and it could have been me hit by that trailer.

Out of curiosity, I googled the date and an article came up about the accident and this condolence page. I was so moved with what I read from family and friends that I respectfully would like to add my name to people who remember this outstanding human being.

Sincerely,
Scott Goggin

Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace, I thank them for sharing their devotion to you by their loving reflections.
