My son and I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Califano as a Dad who so loved his kids and was there at the bowling league with us each Tues after school. We had so much fun taking turns buying the kids rounds of fries and fountain drinks while they bowled alternating weeks taking turns. It was always talk about the kids and how school and scouts was going. In fact we never spoke of work and well we didn't even know that he was an police officer we just knew him has Andrews dad a very sweet and kind man. His gentle smile and carrying ways will be sorely missed here in this world but we know he is in God's safe keeping. Our family's condolences got out to his wife and children. We cannot imagine the pain you are going through at this moment but with your faith and God's love day by day God Bless you all.

What a tragedy, deepest condolences from my family to his, though I did not know him personally, does not lessen the sadness in this, any time a uniformed public service provider is lost in the line of duty because of the carelessness and recklessness of another person is truly a sad day for us all, may his family take solace in knowing that he probably made a difference countless times in other people's lives, be it small or large, thanked or not, we all now have a new guardian angel, RIP PO Califano, Thank you for your service, The Wolff Family.
