We did not know you Col. Malloy, however, we feel a need to say how much we appreciate what you did and how sorry we are for this loss to your family, friends, fellow workers and community. Too often we citizens take for granted what you and every officer does to protect us and how unfair some in the community and the justice system can be. If each officer was paid in accordance to the job he or she did then each of you would make over and above what the judges make. You do so much for so many and get so little compensation in return.
To you and your family we want to say "thank you".
RIP Colonel Malloy and God bless your family.

I knew Col. Malloy first as Capt. G Malloy, a very quiet man unless "pushed" then he could be heard very well. Col. Malloy was a fair man and took great pride in his/our job. My prayers are with his family. You Sir, will be sorely missed, may God find that special place for in Heaven. DOC is down one less Great officer he cannot be replaced.

Colonel Malloy's actions were beyond heroic. Colonel Malloy was not only my superior but a friend. This incident was sudden and tragic his actions that day will never be forgotten. Greg Malloy died for each and every one of us, for our safety and we each owe him for this.
God said this best in John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
May God rest your soul and be with your family. God Bless the Malloy family and all those that serve this country.
