To the family and friends of Detective Roger Castillo. I am so sorry that you lost your life protecting us from criminals. Thank you so much for all the years you have given to protecting us. My deepest sympathy to your wife and children and the rest of the family and friends. It is so hard to lose a love one and father. But I know that you will still be looking over them and the rest of the people that you have taken care of.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Det. Castillo. Also to each and everyone of the members of the Miami-Dade Police Dept. We in Tampa know what you are going through. Loosing one is rough, loosing two in one day is almost breaking. Have peace in knowing they are in a better place and will look over and protect not only their family, but their work family also. Words cant describe the news yesterday when we heard about the shooting. Watch your backs out there and be safe. May both detectives rest in peace.
