I was saddened to hear the news; another hero and warrior lost, but never to be forgotten. Although words can never completely soothe the heartbreaking emotions that we feel when we lose a friend and family member, I hope you will find some comfort in knowing that the Southfield Police Department sends our heartfelt condolences to the Livonia Police Department and Officer Nehasil's family. He will forever be remembered as a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and serve.
