Reflections for Police Officer Rogerio Rene Morales

Roger...

It was a true honor to work with you. In your short time here you touched many. I will forever remember our breakfast group laughs. You were a great zone partner and a great officer. I know you will watch over us....

You and I will meet again,
When we're least expecting it,
One day in some far off place,
I will recognize your face,
I won't say goodbye my friend,
For you and I will meet again.

God bless you my friend...

Officer Morales,
Although we have never met I believe you were a great asset to your agency and will be missed. Rest now brother, but know your work is not yet done. There will come a time unfortunately in the near future that you will be called upon once again. It will be when there is an Officer, Deputy or Special Agent who is alone, in pain, in the dark. They will need you to give them the strenght and peace of mind to know that everything will be ok. You will be there to comfort them and take them home through the darkness. So rest now brother, we will take it from here and finish what you have started.
Always keep your coin in your pocket.

For Police Officer Rogerio Morales:

The regular training, and in-service training, of the law officer is rigorous and demanding. It happens that an occasional health problem, usually unforseen, is the cause of sudden and tragic loss of life during such training. We laud his service and dedication to law enforcement, while we reget that he would fall victim to such sad circumstances this day.

We pray for Rogerio's family, friends, and co-workers. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

I am proud to render Officer Rogerio Morales a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police
