My name is Mike Rushak and I am a motorcycle officer for the City of Chesapeake, Virginia. I will be leaving tomorrow, 05/10/2012, and riding the police motorcycle from Chesapeake to Washington DC. I had the honor of selecting Special Agent, John W. Whitted, for whom, over the next three days, I will wear a metal bracelet with his name, title, and E.O.W. engraved on it. I will wear it until I arrive in Washington, DC. If anyone in his family would like this bracelet, I can be reached at 757-382-6848 (office #), and I will mail it to you. He gave his life and he will always be remembered. Thank you and God Bless.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
