So glad the justice system does not take these kind of criminals lightly. May this man get the maximum penalty he deserves. If those guys would just stop and think a second, crime is not worth the outcome.......not for a second.

Columbia County has lost a vital organ in its community today. We are all in shock. While some officers have had a hard time connecting with POs, the chief was always kind and open armed to a partnership of learning and supporting each other. He was a mentor to one of our officers, a friend to another, and an inspiration to us all. I only worked with the chief a couple of times, but he eminated a kindness that makes me regret I didn't know him better.

He will be seriously missed by the Columbia County Community Corrections Department.
