I didn't know the Chief, but my husband did, and all he can say is "He was a GREAT guy". I can't imagine the pain and sorrow that his wife and children are feeling right now, and my heart breaks for them. I am a cops wife and this has hit close to home. God will look out for his followers. I believe that and I know that he has angels surrounding his family right now! May you have peace in this terrible time and know that Chief is up in heaven patroling the golden streets!

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know he will be sadly missed by co-worker's, family and friends. Every day officer's deal with someone who can take thier life for no reason. He was doing a job only few do. He was protecting and serving those in his community and country from those who choose to do wrong to other's. My prayer's are with you all.
