Reflections for Corporal Chadwick Thomas LeCroy

To the Family and the Department:

Once again my heart breaks for your family. I know personally how hard it is on those left behind. My son was 25 when his journey on Earth ended leaving behind a wife, 18 month old daughter and 22 day old son. Your family's faith will get them through this. You are the best you have ever been--watch over your loved ones and your brothers in blue.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. May it help in some small way knowing others care.

What a horrible loss to the Georgia Law Enforcement community. Chad was fearless and strong. He patrolled some of the most dangerous areas of Atlanta and loved every minute. Always eager to fight crime and confront dangerous criminals, we have lost not only a friend but a highly valuable asset.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the LeCroy family as you bear these difficult and painful moments. A horrible thing happened to a great person last night.

Chad,

I remember meeting you for the first time while my dad was your post commander during your time at GSP Cartersville. I enjoyed your stories and our conversations while sitting around in the trooper/radio room. You were a kind trooper and loving family man. You will and are missed by me and my family. Your family are in our daily thoughts and prayers, and you will not be forgotten.

May God forever bless your soul.
