Unfortunately, someone with 19 prior incidents and 3 felonies was released by the state only to take the life of a family man serving and protecting the state he loved. It is our prayer that your assailant gets what he deserves and the citizens of this state does not have to support his sorry, worthless hide for many years! From being a police survior having loast my son Deputy Sheriff J. Scott Quarles in 2003, I have a certain sense into the pain you are experiencing in the lost of Trooper LeCroy. My prayers go with you. My best advice is to lean on your faith heavy and talk about Trooper LeCroy over and over again. Things may not ever really get better, but it will become more tolerable.
