To the best of my knowledge, this was the only fight Chad ever lost in Uniform. The only way he was "beaten" was by ambush. Like so many of us, he felt a deep desire to rid the streets of those who would make it less than safe. He loved his family, his Country, and the State Patrol. He will be missed by each. May the one who takes his place have his devotion.

You have paid the ultimate sacrifice for your community. You will be mourned by family, friends, co-workers and the citizens your served. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

To the Family, Friends and Fellow Law Enforcement Officers: May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the LeCroy family. As the son of a Trooper and the father of a Trooper I understand the sacrifices that are sometimes required of the men and women who do the job. Chad and his family have made the ultimate sacrifice for all the citizens of Georgia. God Bless Them.
