Reflections for Undersheriff Ira E. Wofford

Rest in peace Undersheriff Wofford. Was wondering if you were related to Steve Wofford a former newsman and anchor here in Miami.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 58th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

The prisoner's trying to help you and your other officer was commendablw as some would just hae used it as an attempt to escape.
Rest In Peace
