Pat's bike was run over by a fire truck. Larry and I found a small big wheel and painted it to look like Pat's bike. We also found a police childs helmet that had red and blue lights and had a speaker that said STOP THIS IS THE POLICE!
Larry took it to the PD and gave it to Pat. Pat road it round the PD it was so funny. Pat said he was going to put it in his memorial room with all the other things he received in his life. We will miss you so much, you were a wonderful friend and we promise we all will take care of Karen for you. We know how much you loved and adored her.

Lord I ask for courage, courage to face and conquer my own fears. Courage to take me where others will not go. I ask for strength, strength of body to protect others and strength of spirit to lead others. I ask for dedication, dedication to my job, to do it well. Dedication to my community to keep it safe. Give me Lord, concern
for others who trust me and compassion for those who need me and please Lord through it all Be at my side... 822 will always live by this, now and forever.

Hey Pat, just wanted to take a minute to say THANK-YOU on this Thanksgiving. You gave the ultimate gift, your life for a complete stranger, while off duty and enroute to enjoy your holiday vacation. You defined what a police officer does, whether on or off duty. I'll miss your smile, handshakes and small talk. Not only were you a federal police officer, you also volunteered your time to serve the City of Nolanville. That truly speaks about your character brother. Your return home last night was so awesome, and I know you're thinking "all this for me?" Anyways, enjoy your Thanksgiving with all the other heroes, and I hope to only be half as good as you were. You were and are the best, man!
