Reflections for Correctional Officer Gary Martin Chapin

To the family, friends and co-workers of Correctional Officer Gary Chapin. I'm shocked and wish this were not so. Obviously the risks of law enforcement are extremely high as is brought home each time an Officer is killed in the line of duty. My sincere thanks for the service of your loved one and sincere sympathy for what you are going through.

You have moved to God's kindom serving alongside all of our honorable and devoted brothers and sisters from law enforcement who have also paid the ultimate in service to their communities. Your record of devotion, loyalty, love and integrity precedes you and will be kept alive here by those left behind for years to come. As you learn and meet all your new partners and have Jesus as your new supervisor know those left behind will care for your family. Rest in peace brother. In Christ.
