I remember growing up in Montgomery County watching my Dad put on his Pa Game Commission uniform. He always looked sharp and wore it proud. I became a state officer (CHiPs) because of how proud I was of him and the PGC. God Bless Officer Grove and his family. We are all there for you.

Dave's death is a terrible loss to our community. The incident occurred not far from the Eisenhower National Historic Site where I work. He died in the line of duty evidently protecting wildlife from illegal hunting. The morning after Dave was killed, on my way to work, I saw a magnificent live Whitetail Buck on our site that very well could have been the object of a poacher's shot near where the incident took place the night before. I'd like to think that buck owed his life to Dave's intervention.
