May God bless you and your family. You are a hero. You are honor. It is a great loss to our society that you are gone and it is men like you that make this world a better place. Thank you for all that you have done in your too short life. You made a difference.

Your murderer was found guilty today. Although it won't bring you back it may bring a bit of solace to your family. Your father has been one of the strongest men I have ever known throughout this whole ordeal. We are proud of you Ryan, may God bless thee and keep thee, the Lord to shine his face upon thee.

Ryan,
Pages and pages of words from so many people trying to express their love, respect, and hurt. Even in tribute to you, I know words alone cannot capture the depth of emotion felt by those who knew you, those who mourn for you, and those who wish they had known you. I, like so many others, wish I had known you. I attended your service with my department's Honor Guard; it was an amazing sight and has left a deep impression with me. More than anything, I hope your family (both the Bonaminio family and your RPD family) are in some way comforted by the words left here by so many. Forever a hero and never forgotten.

Hey brother,

I had the honor of attending your funeral, and I have to say that I am very sorry we never met. After learning a little bit about you from your family and friends, I think you and I had a lot in common. After walking bordering beats there for a while, I'm deeply sorry we never crossed paths. I know I would have benefited from a friend such as yourself. I was deeply moved by your service, and honored to take part in the procession after. I was absolutely blown away by the amount of people who were lining your streets to honor your sacrifice. You could tell they were there for you because of the man you were, and the way you lived your life. As I said, I was deeply moved. As a result, I have been inspired to live my life in such a manner to go the extra mile help others on daily basis to the best of my ability. I am happier for it, and I thank you for showing me that. Nothing can make right what has happened to you and your family, but I want you to know that we all think about you out here, and we know you are with us. I know you are watching over us. Rest in peace brother. See you later.

Ryan, I have never met you, yet I think about you on a daily basis. It upsets me that your life was taken too soon, and so tragic. I have several friends that worked with you. I feel like I know you from reading about you and hearing what a great guy you were. To me, you are the perfect example of a, "HERO." It wasn't how you died, it was how you lived...I attended your funeral, and it was absolutely amazing. Live it up in Heaven Ryan...Keep an eye out for us down here!

To the family and fellow officers of Officer Bonaminio, we have all lost a hero, but we will never know the impact of Ryans ulitmate sacrifice. I am so grateful that the animal responsible for this tragedy is behind bars. May you find comfort in knowing that this criminal can no longer hurt anyone or bring the pain to others that you are feeling.
I pray that you find comfort in the beautiful memories that others share with you.
