To Ryan's family ~ My deepest sympathy goes out to you at this horrible time in life. At some point I knew Riverside Police Department would lose an officer in the line of duty after Doug, but I didnt know how I would feel. My late husband is Detective Doug Jacobs, shot and killed January 13, 2001, RPD. My family and I, as well as C.O.P.S., are here for you from this point forward. Many prayers going out to you.
