His Judgment Day:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulder and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep.. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"

We are so sorry for this loss. Such a young gentleman, trying to do the right thing. Maybe SAPD should wake up and re-institute the DWI Unit -- way too many "drunk drivers" on our streets.
Rest assured he is at peace and watching over his fellow police officers and the public. May he always Rest In Peace.

My heart goes out to the family of Officer Antillon. I lost my only son 2 years ago at the age of 25. He had just started his career as an Alabama State Trooper. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him. I pray for your strength as you deal with the days/months/years. I thanked God for the 25 years that I had my son, and I learned so much about him and how he helped so many. That is my prayer for you as a family.

I am so sorry for the loss. I am sure that he was happy working as a police officer. I always hate to hear when an officer dies. What a sad day.

I retired after 30 years of service. I have seen many officers lost in the line of duty. This one is above and beyond the call of duty. An officer who involves himself while off duty and puts his life on the line for those he swore to protect even while just trying to go home. You are a hero. Im sorry you didnt get to have a full life and carrer. You will not be forgotten nor will your sacrifice be ignored! Chief Deputy Christopher Ellis Island County WA Ret.
