For Police Officer Christopher A. Wilson:

Our duty as law officers is a constant progression through a valley that surely is shadowed with death. Our routine is one of responding to aid others, and keeping our our world at peace. Situations develope suddenly that change this routine and produce the circumstances that endanger lives. We regret that our brother Chris would become a statistic in such a deadly encounter. His actions were heroic and those who came to his aid, also placing themselves at risk, profoundly demonstrate the bond that we share.

We pray for Chris' family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. We count on them to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

I am proud to render Officer Christopher Wilson a final salute.
