Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Captain George C. Green, Jr.

George and I were partners off and on for the past 23 years. Words cannot express this loss. I have cried at the mention of his name for the past 48 hours and will miss his wisdom and friendship. Many of you in this forum did not know George, but have sent your respects. for you, I can tell you that it is an honor to call him friend, mentor, and brother. In one moment, George could make you laugh (and laugh hard) yet within the same moment he would teach you a life lesson, a law enforcement lesson or some tiny bit of wisdom that would make you a better Trooper. He loved serving the public and loved being "on the road" as a State Trooper. I will miss his smile...his sense of humor...and his wisdom. But most of all I will miss his fatherly friendship. Rest in peace brother, I will never let your memory or your lessons die.
