Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Robert Fumiatti

Remembering you and your family today. You are missed but never forgotten brother.

Rob,

You are missed more than you could ever imagine.

You touched so many peoples lives and have inspired so many as well. This is not just because of your great sacrafice as a police officer, but because you were a geniune person, a true friend to many, an awesome Dad, brother, uncle, son and husband. To give the shirt off your back for someone would be an understatment...it just was never enough.

Your legacy will live on for generations to come. We may not be able to hear that contagious laugh of yours anymore but no one will ever forget you.

Through your guidance and spirit you have made me who I am today and I thank you.

You are always in my heart
Miss you dearly,
your wife, your friend,
Stacey

Rob, As the anniversary of the day you left us approaches, I can honestly say we all think of you just as much as when you were here. You were one of a kind and this place is less fun (and much more quiet) without you. Yes, you are physically gone, but your memory will ALWAYS be here, my brother and friend!! <3

It took 3 years for you to be honored. You showed so much strength after the incident. You'll never be forgotten. My dad had the privilege of working with you. I only met Fumiatti once and if I'm not mistaken his father as well. You made a big impression with my family when you showed up to my dad’s wake. Again just shows the person you were. Rest in Peace Brother, the city of New Haven lost a good man.

No brother deserves to have an empty reflection page. I didn't know you nor ever serve with you. But know you're never forgetten. Not by family, co-workers, or anyone who wears a badge.

Rest in peace.
