Coach Chuck,

You helped define my childhood as you were the best soccer coach a youngster could hope for. Not to mention you raised two of the nicest most humble dudes a father could every hope to call sons. You are sorely missed. May your soul rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 2nd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your friends for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections.

Chuck: Its taken me a couple years but I wanted to say thank you. When we met back in 1984 at the old 433rd you told about the local ASAR group. When I first joined Alamogordo Search and Rescue you took me under your wing and started training me. You always made sure people were safe and prepared for those missions. You were a great friend to have, no one could say different. Unfortunatley we lost track of each other and I didnt know what you had been up to until I heard what happened. You Are Missed my friend. RIP.
