The memories that we shared are wonderful. We made 2 amazing children together. Our children miss you dearly, as do I. Life is going to be difficult without you here, but I promise that I will do everything in my power to raise our children and keep them happy. They had a great father, and they will always know that. You're time here is over, but your memory will live on forever! We miss you and love you. Walk the streets of gold and rest. No more pain or suffering! Heaven has truly gained an angel, and I know you're guiding me through and helping me stay strong for our children.

Dear Deputy Willis,
I have a beautiful son your age, he just pulled a 12 hour shift. God brought him home safely, I wish that had been his plan for you. But I know God has a greater plan. I am soooo sorry for your family, loved ones and your fellow LEO's.
Not so long ago my son gave up his father (my husband)in much the same way. I know the pain your loved ones feel with such a tragic loss. My heart goes out to the many lives you have touched. As with my husband, I can promise you you will never be forgotten. There is a special place for those that give all. May God give you rest.

His Final Inspection:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now good Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulders and puffed his chest out large then he looked up and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are very tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got way too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't... I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints so often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now dear Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"

RIP, we've got the watch now.
