Reflections for Constable Robert B. Whitt

Robert Boyd Whitt was my Second great grandfather. Perry Brothers were together causing disturbance. Upon Bobs second meeting with them, alchohol involved one pulled a knife on Bob . He drew his pistol. Another brother drew his pistol and fired. Bob returned fire. Years later family lines merged. Pistol still in family.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 746th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
