Jeff was a great and honorable man. We both went through the police academy together. I recall how proud he was to become a police officer. I give my deepest sympathy to his family and his wife. I pray God gives you serenity and strength through these trialful days to come.

As an officer in a precinct who has lost an officer in the line of duty let me tell you how sorry i am for the loss of your Partner, Friend, Family Member and Hero.

I pray for the families of Officer Kocab and his partner. And to the men and women of the Tampa P.D. , I know this is not the first time you have had to deal with the death of not one , but two officers in the same incident. Please stay diigent as you grieve and serve. After 31 years at the K.P.D. , you think your numb to bad news , but not this. Two hero,s gone too soon.
