Officer Kocab died protecting and serving others. He put himself in harms way so others didn't have to. The gratitude and appreciation for his service cannot be expressed in words but by our actions each and every day. The Lord will help you through this time and he will never leave your side. May God bless you and your child and know that he is watching over all of us now.

"Final Call"

An Angel In The Sky Must Leave His Place Of Rest,
Gently Tucking His Wings Beneath His Armored Vest.
For Duty Has Called, There Is Much Work To Do
Little Did He Know, This One Is Dressed In Blue.

Arriving On The Scene, He Knows Just What To Say,
"Follow Me, Fallen Brother, I'll Show You The Way."
"Your Duty Has Ended, Your Work Is Now Through."
"Come Hang Your Hat Beside Mine, I'm A Cop, Too."

I'm sorry for your loss...he will never be forgotten.

It is a sad day today to see such Noble Young Men taken down while in the line of duty protecting average Citizens like us who appreciate their efforts daily.

Special thoughts and prayers go out to the grieving family and friends. Words can't describe their pain and sadness!

My Pastor'Message in Church this week: "When God answers our prayers he shows the power of his miracles. When he doesn't answer our prayers he shows us his sovereignty, that he knows what is best for us, even if it causes pain and suffering. It may be hard to accept that today, but someday it might make sense.

The Officer that donated his organs saved several lives today. His legacy will live on in the lives he saved!

As a mother of an officer, I could not ever imagine receiving this kind of news. Jeff Kocab was and is loved by the Plant City community and his church. He was not only a loving husband, but would have been a loving father. His church family will miss him.. but, it was best said this afternoon.. that his wife is ok, and the baby is ok, and Jeff is now ok, he is resting in God's hands.
