Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Officer Jeffrey Alan Kocab

May you rest in peace and may your unborn child give your wife the strength to carry on. One day he/she will understand what you did for the community and be so proud of who their father was! As a new mother myself, I can tell you this child will be the greatest gift you and God could ever have given your wife! RIP

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in peace, Officer Kocab.
---------------------------------------------

One of us...a brother lost.

The fallen warrior walks alone,
his footsteps muffled in the swirling mist of
seemingly endless night.

From the darkness, first quiet as a heartbeat,
growing louder, stronger...
the sound of a mighty army marching,
closer, closer still.

His comrades, those who left before him,
join him one by one...
brothers and sisters,
heroes all.

And they walk with him,
a force of many,
a heart of one.

Their duty over,
their rest deserved...
they walk together toward light and hope.

And the peace they fought so hard to keep...
finally their reward.

One of us.
A brother lost.
Never forgotten.
