Thank you all for your kind remakes. This is my great uncle. I had this placed here just for that reason, so he is never forgotten. His father, little brother and cousins all served to protect the cities in Alabama and Georgia. Luckily only one other died in the line of duty. He too is remembered on here and will never be forgotten either.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 118th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Pea

Officer Jackson,
Sir, it has taken 115 years, but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Girard. I think it was a travesty of justice that your murderer was pardoned. Hopefully he's paying for his punishment now.
