I have known the Mahaffey family for many years. it saddens me that a young man who had found his direction & purpose in life had his life taken in such a horrific manner. My family will keep Brian and his family in our prayers. I also want to thank all of his co-workers who put themselves in harms way everyday so we may be safe. God Bless all of you there @ Rockdale Sheriff dept. My thoughts and prayers are also with his wife and his mother Cindy who lost a son the day before mothers day. I have known Cindy for many years and all her efforts went into her children. There is no greater pain than to lose a child so early in life.
