Your heroism and service is honored today, the 130th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

What a travasty of justice that led to the acquital of your murderer and his subsequent slaying of another law enforcement officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be remembered and revered.

To the men and women of the Frankfort Police Department,
The only time I lived outside of Texas was from '67-'69 when my father was transferred to Frankfort with his job. I made many friends while I was there and went back to visit a couple of years for the first time in nearly 40 years. Frankfort will always hold a special place in my heart.
Honoring the memory of Chief Lee is such a great thing to do after all these years. May God keep safe from harm the men and women of the Frankfort Police Department.

Chief Lee - You remind us all that, regardless of rank or title, we may find ourselves in a fight for our lives. Be that "little voice" which tells us to stay sharp with our tactical skills.

Thanks for your service to both the people of Frankfort, and to the state of Kentucky. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.
