Hector, you were loved by your shift mates and by everyone who knew you. Shift 8 has been through so much. Why this tragedy happened we may never know. You will be forever missed and will always be in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Melissa and your family. I know Luke was there to meet you.

Hector, you will be missed my friend, when we were roommates in the academy, you always had a way of putting the positive light on everything, from, " BRO aint nothing they can give we cant get through OK! ". lol Along with that smile and laugh, I always knew you would go far and be a great Police Officer. Now, its your turn to patrol the streets in heaven my brother, rest well and your brothers and sisters will take it from here. You will be greatly missed my friend, but never forgotten. May God bring a peace to your family and friends, while we honor your service and spirit. Rest well my friend, we shall see you again someday, till then watch over us from above.
