Brian,

Your friends back in Ohio were shocked and saddened to hear of your passing! I will always remember you as the little kid on the big wheels ripping around our court and giving people the occasional "nut" shot. To the Walsh family (Brian's wife and kids, brother Patrick, sister Kelly, Dad Bob and Mom Mary, please accept my (and all of the Statzer family's) heartfelt sympathy. Love to you all, David

Brian, I was sad when you left Ohio and moved to Washington. But knowing that you where only a phone call away made it alright. I was looking forward to returning to midnights so we would be able to talk more. I will never forget all the great times we spent together and the fun times in the acdemey. You are truly my best friend and you have touched my family. I will always be there for Vanessa, Zach and the new little girl. Don't worry about your brother. All the County and Xenia guys are here for him. RIP my brother.

Greene County Sheriff's Office

My dear friends and fellow officers at FWPD...words can not convey my sorrow in learning of the death of Officer Brian Walsh. Please know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time and will keep you in my prayers as you mourn the passing of your colleague and acknowledge his contribution to FWPD and the citizens of Federal Way. To the family of Officer Walsh, please accept my sincere condolences. I did not know Brian, but worked with many of those who served next to him every day. I am proud to have been a Federal Way Police Officer and know first hand the caliber of men and women FWPD employs; Brian I am sure was no exception. I believe that God reserves a special place above for police officers and that your loved one has already been welcomed. Thank you Officer Walsh for your devotion to the world's most honorable profession.
