I have had the pleasure of working with many OPSO deputies including Cpl. Searcy. His work ethic, attitude and teamwork mindset was always a refreshing reminder of how a law enforcement officer should perform his duties. His loss is a blow to not only his fellow deputies but to all of us who were blessed by his devotion to this community. Rest in peace my brother. You will be sorely missed.
