Any chance Clyde had a relative Deputy Marshal R. Calhoun?
If so I have a badge with that name scratched on the back.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 92nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 92 years.

Rest In Peace

Deputy Marshal Calhoun,

On behalf of a later generation, your service is appreciated and though you may seem forgotten by most, when the name "Deputy Marshal Clyde Calhoun" is spoken, it will always be synonymous with someone who is remembered in death as a Hero in life.
