Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Kevin B. Wilkins

Lord, I ask for courage, courage to face and conquer my own fears. Courage to take me where others will not go. I ask for strength of body to protect others and dedication to my job that I might perform it well. Also, dedication to my country that I might keep it safe. And I pray your protective hands keep safe the one's I love. And please, Lord, through it all be by my side. While your time was with our Department was short, you have done well and served the community honorably. The Lord is now and always will be by your side.

Accidents happen everyday. I'll continue to pray for Officer Wilken's family and friends. The same day that happened, one of our officers shot himself in the hand while he was in training. It's unfortunate when these accidents happen. God bless and be safe out there.
