For Police Officer David T. Zolendziewski:

Our duty as law officers takes us onto a dangerous battlefield - a United States highway. It is a cavalcade of carnage and we are not exempt from it's perils as we patrol. We regret that another law officer has been counted among the statistics.

We pray for Dave's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they reach-out at the appropriate moments to provide support. And, may each of the remember Dave for the light he brought into their life.

I am proud to render Officer David Zolendziewski a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police
