Having taken Criminal Justice classes in college with Andy, I knew we'd both wind up in law enforcement, but never thought you'd leave it so young... Rest in Peace, you are greatly missed.

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13 Part of the California Highway Patrol's, Code of Honor says, "...and if necessary, lay down my life, rather than swerve from the path of duty." I am certain Ohio Troopers make a similar committment upon appointment. Sadly, Trooper Baldridge did not have an opportunity to do all that he had hoped for the people of the Great State of Ohio, but he gave more than anyone could have asked. May the Lord bless and sustain Trooper Baldridge's family, and friends, and the Ohio State Patrol, in this time of sorrow. And may His grace and mercy be sufficient for the days to come.

California Patrol
