Trooper Mattice,
I was notified of this tragic incident shortly after it occurred and was saddened not only that once again another Law Enforcement Officer was killed, but also that it was once again another NYSP Trooper. Your Agency has suffered so many losses the past few years. Please know that you, your family, including your family of Grey Riders are in our thoughts and prayers.
