Reflections for Deputy Sheriff James Louis Anderson, Jr.

Hey, James,
Just wanted to stop by and say hey, your friends and family are missing you like crazy, not sure if ya know all this, but lets see in the past few months 4 deputies popped the question to the girls of their dreams. I do so hope that they are so happy, and that they are always safe, well you know who they are. Have ya met my dad and son yet, bet they met ya as you were coming up, my dad HIs name is also James, he was he strongest man I have ever known, my son his name is also James, he is with my dad. bet you and my dad are laughing up a strom up there, please tell him and my son that I love them and miss them so.
Tedder has some rough days, and sometimes I have to say to him, Would James want you to do that, no one will ever replace the friendship you made with everyone you have met, but you have to live your life to the fullest, and also that if James was still here, he would prolly knock ya upside your head, and telll ya what for and explain,

so many people I know you were good friends with, and they are still miss ya, i only knew you for a short time, and I thank you for just being who you are.

please keep you wings around all these people as we go to work and at home, your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers, GOD SPEED,

I come to the ODMP often to remember my late fiancé Dennis. Every time I come here it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to live their lives without the officer they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Deputy Anderson, especially his wife. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. Should you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. (The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me. I can also be found on Face Book.) You will be in my thoughts.

From reading the reflections left for James, he sounds like he was a great man with a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember James' life and the MAN that he was. Remember that James' life was about so much more than the way he died. James will continue to live on as long as we continue to remember him.

Deputy Anderson, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my late fiancé Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been seven years and a half years but he's still very much missed and forever loved.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)

Deputy James Anderson is the reason, I found this page. I saw his memorial page on Face Book and I was very saddened by his story and his death. His story led me here. May the Angels look over his wife and children, keep them safe, successful and strong!

What's up bro. Just dropping by to say hello and thinking of you as well. I passed D.R.E. School. Impaired drivers, beware. Thanks for keeping us safe. For the past two weeks, I drove by the spot and prayed to say hello. I knew you were there, keeping me safe as I drove back and forth. Forever and ever, love you bro. Semper-Fi

James. To this day, I still think of you and miss you. Not a day goes by I don't. I know your up in heaven, patrolling the golden streets and watching over us, as we continue to fight the good fight. You know how i'm aggressive when it comes to removing impaired drivers from the highways. I got accepted in D.R.E. School, which will help me more, in successful prosecution of impaired drivers. Until we meet again; "Catch Up With You Later Bro"

James, James, James. Really don't know where to start, but i'll start by say I miss you. It still doesn't seem real to me bro. Having a hard time making sense of it all. The service was AWSOME, though i'm sure you saw it and was AMAZED and i'm sure you said, "Wow, all this for me"! Yes, all of it was for you. You deserved it and much more. I know we will be safe fighting the good fight, knowing you're in heaven patrolling the golden streets and watching over us while we are in hell, awaiting for us to patrol the golden streets with you one day. You will be forever loved and missed. I promise you I, and everyone elses life you touched, will never forget you. Take care bro. We know you're resting in peace with out LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.

It was an awe inspiring sight to see all of the patrol vehicles with lights on driving to the Church in remembrance of you.
I want to thank those individuals who stopped on the side of the interstate to pay their respects.
The service today left many with teary eyes. We will miss you and like your baby brother said if you love someone, tell them.
Protect your family and all of us on our daily journey.
