Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff James Louis Anderson, Jr.

James will be surely missed.
He worked with my husband at Putnam and I dispatched for him when he came over to St Johns. Even after we left those agencies to move to South Carolina, James kept in touch with my husband. He was a wonderful man, a great friend, and a superb deputy.
Godspeed James. We will miss you.

Mrs. Anderson there are no words that I can say to help ease the pain in your heart, but may you know that God has called a very special angel home to help patrol the streets above and to watch over your family now from heaven. May the children of Deputy Anderson know that we will never let their dad be forgotten, a hero forever !

For Deputy Sheriff James Louis Anderson:

Our duty as law officers on-patrol are performed on one of the most dangerous battlefields of all - a United States highway. Our expeditious response to calls and engaging in high-speed pursuits, along with working long hours, intensifies our risk beyond what is normal. We regret to learn Jim's fate and can only trust that our creator has made this choice for a special reason.

We pray for Jim's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another at the appropriate moments and remember Jim for all of the best reasons he brought light into their life.

As a retired state trooper and Lake County (FL) deputy sheriff, I am proud to render Deputy James Anderson a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)

Prayers to the family and friends, as well as the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office and policing family of Deputy Sheriff Anderson. What a tragedy to lose an officer while on duty. We lost an officer here last week, murdered while on duty by a suspended RCMP officer, and the pain is still so fresh. Our love, hearts and condolences go out to all of you, may you remember his faithfulness to the job and his desire to serve and protect his community. He will be remembered and honoured. From one policing family to another,
Strength and peace,
