I have the privilage of meeting Trooper Richey when he worked on an accident that came to our ER while he was a rookie. He had a mischevious smile and an excitement for his job that was refreshing. Our prayers to his family and his extended family in the State Police. You are always in our hearts and your work will not be forgotten.

Another tragic loss for the fine men and women of the Pennsylvania State Police. It has been less than a year since Josh died and now another senseless killing. May Trooper Richey's family and friends find comfort in each other during this sad time. May God watch over you and guide you. Thank you Trooper Richey for making the ultimate sacrafice. May you rest in peace.

It is better to have lived one day as a lion, than to live ten thousand years as a sheep.

You will never be forgotten and will always be a hero to us all.

I pray that God holds his family close to his heart and consoles them during this tragedy.
