Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Josie Greathouse Fox

ONLY 10 years maximum? For murdering a law enforcement officer, a wife, and a mother. Where is the justice in that?
RIP Deputy Fox.

what a disgrace that this person was acquitted. Her poor family gets no justice. Not enough they lost their wife, mother, daughter. Sometimes the justice gets me so mad.

Your spirit will live on forever. May God grant you eternal peace. Prayers to your department and most of all to your Loved Ones.

I am truly sick to my stomach that this form of Justice can happen in the United States to a true "Hero".

I have laid down my life in service to all of you.
I have been a part of the fabric that has held the line between your safety and your victimization.
As I now become a part of the rich history of law enforcement, please remember me always for I have left behind those who loved and depended upon me.
I have given my life so that others may live in peace.
My partners and my agency, please remember my family, their loss, and don’t let time soften your compassion for them.
You guard the gate now and I will continue my watch from above.

REST IN PEACE.

Deputy Fox, My heart breaks for your family. It is so hard to lose a loved one , but just as hard to know that the person responsible for that loss is not held accountable. You see, my family also has had to share that pain when my brother's killer was also aquitted. Thank you very much for your service and may you rest in the peace and comfort of our heavenly father.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported the details of this case. I am shocked and at a loss to explain how this man was acquitted. He confessed to it; he had his fingerprints on the weapon. What more did the jury need ? RIP Deputy Fox.

Unbleivable that this person has been acquitted of murder! I will pray that he will be convicted on these other charges. While he is in prison, he makes a bad choice and stays in there, or something else happens to him. He will face his judge one day! God will deal with him! I am praying for your family, and again, I am so sorry that this had to happen to y'all.
My son-in-law was killed on 6-7-11. Deputy Kurt B.Wyman, left behind a wife, and two babies. I understand your pain and suffering.

To the family of Deputy Fox:
I am so sorry to hear the news of the murderer being acquitted of the murder charge. It is a shame when men and women are killed while serving their community and justice is not served. It is an outrage this man will go free in ten years; however, I pray that God will being you, the family, comfort and peace during this tragic time.

I have lost colleagues in the UK where I served for over twenty years and in the US where I lived and worked in Utah for three years 2001 to 2005 and where I lost my beloved first wife to cancer. There io loss greater than that of a wife and mother, no killing more pointless than that of a deputy dedicated to serving their local community. My heartfelt sympathy to Josies husbdnand, children and family all.
