Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Josie Greathouse Fox

Another senseless act that has ended the life of a good "sister" in blue. I pray for your family and coworkers. We will never forget the sacrifice you made.

Lt. Ryan Smith
Martin County Sheriff's Office

Josie, you will be greatly missed by those who knew you best. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. May your family find some solace that your death, however senseless, was not in vain when laid at the altar of freedom. Your community was better for having you there, keeping your watch. Rest in peace and God bless you and your family.

My sympathy to the family, friends and co-workers of Deputy Fox. I am a female deputy in Washington state and also the mother of a 38 year old. It just breaks my heart that your children and husband are being denied the mother and wife they deserve by a criminal illegal alien. You are truly a hero and a woman for all other women to look up to. May God bless your soul!

An Angel In The Sky Must Leave His Place Of Rest,
Gently Tucking His Wings Beneath His Armored Vest.
For Duty Has Called, There Is Much Work To Do
Little Did He Know, This One Is Dressed In Blue.

Arriving On The Scene, He Knows Just What To Say,
"Follow Me, Fallen Brother, I'll Show You The Way."
"Your Duty Has Ended, Your Work Is Now Through."
"Come Hang Your Hat Beside Mine, I'm A Cop, Too."

may God bless you and your family for your sacrifice.
