An immeasurable loss on every level. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF TROOPER ENGELHARD. I KNOW THE THE PAIN AND DISBELIEF YOU HAVE. I TO LOST MY SON IN DECEMBER OF 06 WHEN HE WAS STRUCK BY A CAR WHILE DIRECTING TRAFFIC. OH HOW I WISH PEOPLE WOULD LEARN YOU CAN'T GO SLOW ENOUGH WHEN YOU SEE THE EMERGENCY VEHICLES. YOU WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT GOD NEEDED A GOOD MAN BACK. WE ARE BLESSED THE HE ALLOWS US TO HAVE THEM FOR A WHILE TO LOVE. I ALSO KNOW THAT IT DOES NOT HELP WITH THE PAIN NOW. THE LAW ENFORCEMENT FAMILY WILL BE THERE FOR YOU ALSO. I remember dispatching/working with Dennis. He was a nice and quiet Trooper. Even though I have not worked there since December 2002, I can still hear his voice when I think of him. He will be missed.
