Other than just seeing him around town, I didn't know Captain Cagle, but his actions last Thursday night are a testament to the kind of officer he was. My prayers are with all of his loved ones and his family has my most sincere gratitude for both his sacrifice, as well as the years that he served the people of Henderson.

30 years and still a cop. Captain's rank and still a "cop". God knows in these times we need them.

Cpt.
Thank you for your service and leadership. You did not wait until the troops showed up and old them what to do. You lead from the front. You epitomize my old military motto "deeds not words". Thank you. Your family will forever be in my prayers.

Dennis was one of the finest Officers in the Henderson Police Dept. He was 100% Law Enforcement who loved his job and loved to serve his town. He was old school and knew how to handle himself in any situation. He was the man whom you wanted to back you up when you went into a bad call. He will be missed and his men are the better to have served with him. May God be with his family friends and Dept in the days to come.
