Officer Davis, you will be sorely missed by your brothers and sisters. I know there will be no end to the heartache your family feels over your death. There is little comfort words might offer in a time like this. I will, however, try to offer some to your family...Your husband, father, son died doing a job that he surely loved. He changed more lives, and helped more people than you'll ever know. The bond that we all share in this tight-knit family is strong. When you go to sleep tonight and every one thereafter, know that you are not alone--the love, understanding, and compassion of fellow cops and their families will be with you always.
